We don’t know much about this cute fellow, other than he was brought to the shelter as a stray and never claimed. Goose is approximately 1 year old and seems to be a lab mix, what he’s mixed with we just don’t know. Goose loves walks and being around people but has not enjoyed the confinement of his kennel run. We are working on crate training however, he may never be a dog that will feel comfortable crated for any length of time. While Goose knows some tricks, he needs help learning how to stay calm around new people (he just loves jumping on them and giving them kisses), and that barriers can be a good thing and are not something to be scared of. Goose would do well as an only dog with a family willing to spend time training him on how to be the best dog ever! Due to Goose’s size, we are looking for a home without small children (no one under 13 years old, please) and someone with experience in training a young dog.
