ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 70 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Friendly with other dogs, good greetings on walks and with scheduled doggy play dates. His first greeting with a new dog friend he can be a little nervous, but warms up well with a friendly dog. KNOWN WITH CATS: Macaron is very cat friendly!! His previous home, he lived with three cats. KNOWN WITH KIDS: Macaron has not had issues with kids but has not lived with them before KNOWN COMMANDS: Macaron reportedly knows sit, come, paw, and down. This may shift in a new home and command reinforcement may be needed! KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: Macaron is very comfortable using pee pads and will go outside if it is a quite space. He is crate trained. KNOWN LIKES: Macaron LOVES to run outside! KNOWN DISLIKES: Macaron does not like swimming/water but is OK getting a reluctant bath. He does not like being left alone for too too long, but what dog does!! He does well in a crate for a responsible amount of time. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Macaron is a sweet dog that needs a bit more confidence in the world, but does great meeting new people and will warm up well to new dogs! Once he gets comfortable, he is a true cuddle bug. Be prepared to relinquish any personal space!He would be great for an adult who is looking for a companion. He is ok being crated for 6 or so hours, but still needs training to be left alone for longer outside of the crate. He's done great at doggy daycare, which is another good option. Macaron needs some extra training with leash manners. He is food motivated so using treats to train has been very helpful. Since he is so in love with his people, he has great recall! Macaron could use a little more help with sticking to a regular bathroom schedule.
