Very handsome boy! His picture doesn't do him justice. He is a very striking dog. Gomer has the markings of a hound, but the personality more like a labrador. He is about 1 year old and was a stray just after July 4th, like so many others. C.A.R.E.S. rescued Gomer from a kill shelter in Wisconsin.
Gomer is a very happy puppy! His tail is alwasys wagging! He is playful with other dogs, is good with kids, and is a little interested in cats, so he'll need proper introductions if a cat is involved.
Gomer will sit for a treat and is continuing to learn good doggie manners. He likes to sit on chairs and cuddle in your lap. He does fine in a crate, he didn't way a word during the whole ride from WI. We think he is housetrained, but make no guarantees, as he's been in a boarding kennel for a few months.

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
