My Story

Goliath is a 2 year old, 106 pound male Rotty/Great Pyrenees mixed dog that was rescued from the Ottawa County dog pound. Goliath was brought to the pound as a stray found in the wildlife area. Here is a note from his foster mom: My formal name is Goliath however, I answer to Buster, the nickname my foster family gave me. I don't want to brag, but a little won't hurt, so here are some of my qualities. I love any male figure that gives me attention, and I love my foster mom as well, as she is the one whom plays fetch, takes me on long walks and rides in the car. I like squeaky toys and balls that I can pop. Cow hooves and femur bones keep me happy in my crate when it's time to go to bed, mom says it's my "before bed time snack" to clean my teeth. I don't jump on anything or anyone, and I don't use the inside my foster home as my toilet. I do respond when someone tells me "don't do that". When I am crated for the night, (my fosters don't want me to get too attached so they don't let me sleep with them), I don't fuss, just get settled and drift off to sleep. Although I will let you know if I have to go out during the night. I don't dig or eat the flowers, and am very polite and well mannered. However my foster mom thinks my looks and joker type smile is my best quality. She tells me I am gorgeous! (My pictures don't do me justice, I should have posted my glamour shot pics.) As soon as the word gets out how great I am, I'm going to go to my forever home. So get your adoption applications quick, because if you snooze you loose. See yah soon. Goliath (just call me Buster).
