Meet Goliath! Goliath is an 11-week-old black and tan puppy. True to his name, Goliath is already a whopping 24 lbs and is expected to grow into a very large dog. While his former owner said he is a Rottweiler and German Shepherd mix, we think there might possibly be hound as well (or maybe instead of the rottweiler..?) given his ears. His stubby tail, inherited from his mom, adds to his unique charm, but it also throws us for a loop on his possible breed since rottweilers stubby tails are docked and not actually born that way. Hmmm..a mystery for sure. This mild-mannered pup is already making great strides with potty training in his foster home. Despite his size, Goliath is a gentle giant who can be a bit timid. He is currently afraid of his own shadow, so he needs a patient and gentle home that will help him gain confidence. However, he has started to come out of his shell already. Goliath was the only puppy in his litter, so he's still learning how to play and interact with other dogs. Fortunately, he is currently being socialized with another large dog in his foster home who is teaching him the ropes. With the right guidance and socialization, Goliath is sure to grow into a well-adjusted and happy dog.
