Most of our dogs are at the shelter but some are in foster homes. Before being adopted all dogs will spend 2 weeks in quarantine, receive 2 sets of vaccines, be dewormed twice, if over 6 months of age they will be tested for heart worms, and they will be spayed or neutered. The local adoption fee is $100. The out of state adoption fee is $125 which does not include transportation fees. 9/24/09 When I came to JMCHS in June, the staff named me "Goldie" which is perfect because I do have a heart of gold. I am about a year and a half years old and a beautiful brindle coloring. I was found on the side of the road. I have a very sweet disposition and I love people as you will see by my wagging tail. I am spayed and up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. I will be your loving and loyal friend.
