Goldie is a beautiful, 13yo terrier mix who weighs 11lbs. Goldie has been with us for 2 months and unfortunately still doesn’t allow us to handle her much. She can be picked up with a blanket or towel and then she will allow us to pet and cuddle her but she will startle easily. She doesn’t bite, but will run away. Oddly, Goldie does enjoy baths. We hope with time Goldie will become more comfortable with her new family.
Goldie is great with other dogs and often shares beds. She’s not playful, but has spurts of energy resulting in very cute zoomies. Goldie is very quiet - we have yet to hear her bark.
Goldie does have a grade 3 heart murmur and after a recent echocardiogram she started daily heart medication and early cardiac food. She would benefit from a dental, but due to her heart issues we are choosing not to do one. Goldie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and recently had full bloodwork.
