Godiva . . . yes, as in "the finest chocolate candy". Although my story won’t seem so fine. It’s hard to believe before I entered the CAAWS program and found myself a foster home, I lived on the streets with a homeless person. This kind sweet soul picked me up and "made me his mascot" because he was tired of seeing the neighborhood children mistreat me. He said he knew exactly how I felt. Well, then came my second savior, a man who offered "my former dad" some cash for me in order to find me a better home. My second dad is how I ended up at CAAWS and in a foster home. I am a female Chocolate Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix born approximately 2/08. I am up to date on shots, spayed and current on heartworm prevention. I’m in my "puppy" stage right now so even though I’m lots of fun, I’m also lots of work. (So says foster mom).
