Gloria

Meet 2 year old Gloria, a sweet GSD rescued from the shelter, currently in a foster home in Berkeley. Notes about Gloria from her Foster mom: 1. HUGE cuddlebug. Paws you for cuddles. If she’s too excited she’ll even calm down if you start scratching her neck and face. (Which I only do after I correct whatever ‘bad’ thing she’s doing.) And she’s a velcro baby at bedtime!! 2. Whip smart. Intuitively gets a big chunk of what you’re trying to convey. 3. Has trouble pottying with distractions, but whimpers loudly when she needs to go. Would probably have close to zero accidents indoors if she had a quiet place to potty like a backyard or quiet street. 4. She loves sniffy walks and the dog park. She can jump high though, and escape easily bc she’s fast and skinny, so keep an eye on her at first! 5. Sooooo mild and polite. Only kinda-aggression was when she thought Zoey was stealing her little chirping cat toy ? Gloria also finds a lot of comfort in her toys. Generally falls asleep more easily with them. 6. Doesn’t really know many commands or etiquette, but gently accepts corrections and listens when you’re angry LOL. Good recall when you angrily say her name, like when she counter surfs to sniff a kitty butt ????? 7. Speaking of kitties, she’s not terrible with them, but we’re working on her approaching a little more gently. 8. LOVES fetch but sometimes avoids yellow tennis balls? She also loves fetch indoors or in bed also with any toy she adopts lol. 9. Submissive to dogs already in the home, and will happily wrestle in the house if allowed lol. Likes (in no particular order): 1. Cashews 2. Tofu 3. Cow ears 4. Cheese but not yogurt? 5. Peanut butter 6. Bully sticks 7. Carrots….tho there will be a mess after ? 8.
