Gizmo

Meet Gizmo! Gizmo comes to us from a very rough past where she was passed around from home to home and not treated with the respect she deserves. That has not stopped her from being a sweetheart to staff, volunteers, and other dogs. Gizmo is ready for her forever home, where she doesn't have to worry about where she will be in the next month or so. We are so happy to see her tail wag, as we can see in her eyes that she hasn't had the human connection she deserves. Her foster mom tells us she is fond of helping on the farm, whether that means helping hoof trimmings disappear or spooking the deer out of the yard. Gizmo is a great lady when it comes to getting spa treatments like toe nail trims or baths after a hard day of chores. Gizmo is food motivated, loves water, has good recall (unless she's after a duck or a deer), she knows her basic commands, she rarely barks and becomes very protective of her caregivers! We hope you can meet this babe at the Lemhi County Humane Society any day of the week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.!
