Giovanni’s a 1yo 10lb chi/fox terrier mix. He’s dog friendly with slow introductions. He’s pee pad and house trained when kept on a schedule. He loves his people, is very cuddly and prefers to sleep in his person’s lap. He loves to play fetch and chew on toys. He’s very smart, attentive, loving, but can get anxious in new situations that may be scary for him.
Giovanni MUST have a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, a secure fenced in yard, another dog that is calm along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT fit this please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone not a fit. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.
