Meet Gio! When Gio came into the shelter he had been living on his own on the streets for a little bit. Gio is a very handsome gentlemen who is also a big lover boy! With all his spots maybe there’s a splash of Dalmatian in his genetics?! We dont think Gio had the best life and so he can be a little nervous with new things. Despite being shy and a little nervous Gio very quickly comes out of his shell and has so much personality! He loves to run around and do zoomies and also enjoys spending time with his favorite people. He gets so excited when it’s his turn to go outside and play in the yards or go on a walk. We think he’d likely do well with another dog in the home. When he was picked up by dog control he was trying to befriend a group of stray cats in the area so we think he’d also do well in a home with dog savvy cats! Small children might be a little over whelming for him. He will likely need some work on house training, crate training, and basic manners in his new home.
