Hello there! Let me introduce my handsome self...my name is GINO. The people say I may have Catahoula, German or Anatolian Shepherd, maybe some Plott Hound and/or Staffordshire Terrier in me, plus something else to give me my soft lush coat & bushy tail. I don't know what that means but I know I am a great dog! I am about 1 1/2 yrs old and now at a healthy weight of 55 pounds...which is a far cry from when I was first rescued. I had not been cared for very well & my foster mom...I like to think of her as my angel, actually "bought" me to get me "outta there" so I could be vetted, properly fed, loved and prepared to move forward to find my wonderful home that I dream of so much! If I could pick my new home...what would it look like? A lot like my temporary foster home...with a lot of love, a soft bed to lay on & another dog buddy as a playmate. I am good with all the dogs in my foster home from Chihuahua size and up! I choose to ignore the cats and they don't faze me at all. I really love people from kid size on up but my foster mom says kids should be at least 8 years old. Plus! I am smart...so they tell me! I love training and learning commands and learn new stuff fast! I love sleeping in front of the fireplace and a new home with a fenced yard for me to run in would be fantastic!
