My Story

Ginny, I've got your number. I need to make you mi-ine. We spend a lot of time singing and laughing with this silly girl in the house. Her wiggles and vocals are hilarious, though I know she is really needing to release some of that energy with more outside time. Until it warms up a bit, she spends a lot of time happily snuggling with the humans and wrestling with the resident dog inside the house. Some of Ginny's quirks (good and not so good): Although she'll accept everyone in a household, she will make clear who her favorite human is! If you are lucky enough to be her chosen one, she'll make you feel like a million bucks every time she sees you. (It's me, her foster mom. I'm the chosen one.) She'll gladly go into her kennel for bedtime, but she is so sad to be stuck in there during the day. She's managed to get herself out of there a few times. She does nip at my dog's heels when they go outside and when they play. Still working on correcting this behavior. It seems to be in fun, but it does make my pup yelp, though he won't boss her around and tell her to stop. She can also get so eager for my attention first thing in the morning that she grabs at my arm with her teeth. It's not aggressive, but it's definitely a behavior that we're working on. She has earned the nickname "potato. The resemblance is uncanny. When we first met her, she was so incredibly shy. She warms up though! We had quite a few people at our house for New Years, and she quickly became friends with every one of them. *Ginny will do best with another dog in the home to play with and help her with confidence during a transition
