My Story
We're excited to share that one of the sweetest pups ever is now looking for a pawesome home! Ginnie is around 5 months old, and she is a true gem. If a dog shows her heart by her tail wags, let us tell you, Ginnie wags her entire body! She just exudes happiness.
For a dog who didn't have it all that easy, she has nothing but love in her heart. Ginnie was found all alone as a young puppy wandering a rural highway in MO, likely dumped by some uncaring human. Thankfully a nurse saw Ginnie and scooped her up, so she wouldn't be hit by a car, and contacted a local rescuer, who always finds a way to help the unwanted and abandoned dogs. In the last couple of months, Ginnie has been fully vetted, she made her way to Omaha, and is now ready to be someone's cherished family member.
Ginnie is one of the bestest puppies we've ever met. She has the best demeanor - she is friendly with people and other dogs, she loves being close to you, she's playful and gentle. Despite being a puppy, Ginnie is not mouthy. She's also not much of a barker. Her coat is soft and she does not seem to shed much at all. Ginnie is crate trained, and does well in her crate. She sleeps through the night just fine, no whining. She did great at the Vet, too. Ginnie is a smart girl, she learned how to do steps in one day. There is still more for her to learn, as she is, after all, still a pup, so we'd like to see her adopted by someone wonderful, who is willing to invest the time and energy into making sure she continues to grow into a wonderful dog - she's well on her way.
Ginnie has completed her vetting. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, she's been dewormed and microchipped, and she is on monthly tick/flea/heartworm prevention. She weighs 36 lbs and is expected to grow some more. Though it's hard to say just what her full grown size may be, given her age, we'd venture a guess that she'd be medium size.
