Ginger (bulldog)

My name is Ginger. Most call me 'Gingie'. I like that a lot. I just lost my daddy, so I'm lonely and looking for a loving home. I'm ten years old but spry for my age. I'm sweet and mild-tempered. I have a touch of arthritis, so my rear end is sensitive, but I'll forget that when you rub behind my ears, which I love. This is good for the groomer because I adore taking a bath, almost as much as I love short walks on a nice spring day. I had a brother Bullie named Bentley but, sadly he passed away a few weeks ago - we were puppies together - so I do get lonely. But I cheer up easily. Aside from my brother, I haven't lived among other dogs or children. All our lives, my brother and I used a doggie door to go outside and take care of necessary things. Without a door, I'll need a little training to tell someone when it's time to go outside. Thanks to Dr. Hitt at Mainstay Vets, I'm up to date on all my shots and, for a senior Bullie, in pretty good shape. Nothing really bothers me much....except for the vacuum cleaner. It's just too loud. I don't much like the fireworks on July 4 th , either. I'm just looking for someone to give me a little love and attention for the time I have left. I'll sure return that. Oh, just one thing. I sure want my Foster Mom, Joyce, to be able to visit me occasionally. She's been so good to me. So if you live near McLean, VA she would love to come by occasionally for kisses.
