Ginger

Ginger and her BIG brother, Freddie, are undoubtedly two of the cutest, most playful, and unique looking dogs we have seen in a long time. They appear to be a mix of Lab (webbed feet and they LOVE the water) and Husky or Malamute, with the latter more likely guaging by their XL size.

Their comfort in the shelter surroundings has improved ten-fold since these two came to CAS; it's hard to believe they are the same two cautiously shy dogs that first came in! Ginger still needs a little more encouragement than her brother, always looking for his approval before she accepts any attention.

Ginger is going to be a living giant teddy bear for some lucky family. You can just picture her playing with kids as if she is one of them, yet also serving as a protector of her home and family. Her size alone will serve to warn off strangers! Please come in to see for yourself what a great girl our Ginger is. She's got not only XL sized feet but also XL sized heart and soul! She'll win you over in one XL heartbeat!!!!

Adoption Fee: $85 which includes microchipping, spay/neuter, heartworm test, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, age appropriate vaccinations, worming. Cash or check only -- we do not take debit or credit cards. Staff and volunteers socialize and work with the dogs on a daily basis. Most are leash trained and kennel trained upon adoption. We have really great dogs just waiting to be your new best friend!
