My Story

At 9 weeks old and a bit over 6 pounds, this little innocent sweetheart is so friendly, smart, sociable with cats & other friendly , tolerant dogs! Believe it or not, Ginger’s mama was a purebred Basset Hound, and her daddy was a Mini Dachshund (Teckel) She has had her first vaccine (Max 5) and has been dewormed by vet prescription. And has had her first monthly Revolution for heartworm. She is a very healthy wee girl, bright and alert. Being crate trained by her foster home, she now cries a bit but settles down and naps. She can go through the night but needs to be taken out immediately upon awakening! She is learning to walk on leash and not expect to be carried! She will be spayed by our vet age 6 months, included in her adoption fee. Will she take after mama or daddy in size? Too soon to tell yet! She is a work in progress. She NEEDS a home with someone there during the day as she is too young to be left alone all day; and while having no separation anxiety, she LOVES being in the midst of the family dynamic! Loves being held in the car too, where she gets lulled to sleep. This is an exceptional pup, jolly and playful!
