Hey there, future family! I’m Gilly, and I’m on the hunt for my furever home! I might be a bit of a shy guy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I’m a gem just waiting to shine. I absolutely adore the great outdoors, so if you’ve got a dog door, I’ll be your yard’s most enthusiastic explorer! I used to be a stray, and when I ended up at the shelter, my previous humans didn’t stick around. But hey, that’s your golden opportunity to be my new best friend and give me the love and patience I deserve. I’m still figuring things out and taking my time to warm up to new faces. Right now, I might not be the biggest cuddler, but trust me, that’s just a phase. Give me a bit more time, and I’ll be your snuggly sidekick in no time! I did have a little eye surgery recently to fix a wound from my stray days. It left a small bulge on my eye, but it doesn’t hurt, and I can still see—just a bit blurry on that side. I get along great with my foster siblings and use the dog door like a pro!
