Ghost

Animal Profile: Ghost is an 8-month-old (DOB 11/25/23) 52 lb purebred male German Shepherd looking for a new home. Ghost is friendly with people and all dogs, crate trained, even tempered and environmentally sound. He does like to chase cats so would need a feline-free home or an adopter comfortable with work on this, and with a dog savvy cat. Ghost is not nervy and has even done well with fireworks. Ghost is good about going potty outside provided he is given frequent potty breaks and supervised in the house, and is improving day by day in foster care. Ghost is learning basic obedience and is a quick study with high pack drive and average food drive for a shepherd. He would benefit from a shepherd savvy adopter to continue with his training and with a commitment to providing him mental and physical stimulation. This handsome boy is up to date on vaccinations, has had comprehensive veterinary care, and will be neutered at the time of adoption. Animal History: Ghost was purchased from Schraderhaus K9 by a well intentioned family who soon realized that -- with another special needs puppy in the home -- they didn't have the time or resources to care for two young dogs. He was surrendered to his boarder Seattle Shepherds where he is currently being fostered (in Snohomish, WA). Ghost is currently available for adoption in the greater Seattle area.
