Say hello to Gherkin!
She is a 6 year old Pit bull mix who weighs 42 pounds. Gherkin is a petite and adorable pup who can be shy and sensitive when meeting new people. She is a great combination of energetic and snuggly. She loves going for long walks outside, but will gladly spend her afternoon snuggling with you on the couch. Once she's comfortable she loves playing and can't get enough of her squeaky toys! Gherkin takes some time to open up, but once she trusts you she is a friend for life! Since she is shy with new people, if there are children in her forever home they need to be ages 13 and older. Gherkin does well with new dogs, but she would need a slow introduction to new dogs to see if they would be a good fit but once she warms up to she is ready to play! She does not do well with cats, so she would need a home with no cats.
