Gep is approx 6-7 years old as of June 2005. His owner was evicted from his home and because of financial difficulties and had to move out of state to be with family. Sadly he could not take Gep. Gep is a very loving dog. He is great with children and most other dogs. Volunteers love him and when we have Girl or Boy Scout Troops come to LP, they all enjoy walking and grooming him. He loves the attention too, especially when someone throws a ball for him. Gep will get it or a toy a few times, but then go play with it by himself.
Gep is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered. He used to be housebroken but has been outside for several years now. We believe that as smart as he is, Gep will pick it back up quickly.
Gep has been tested for Heartworms/Lyme/Ehrlichia and is negative. He is on HW preventative and weighed 50 pounds.
