My Story
Hey there, I’m Georgie! Let me tell you my story.
Once upon a time, my sister, Alexa and I, found ourselves in a whirlwind of change. Our previous owner couldn’t care for us anymore, so we ended up here at the shelter. Talk about a tough transition! We were two little shut-down pups, clinging to the safety of our kennels. Leashes? Never heard of 'em!
This new environment—loud, fast-paced—was a challenge. But guess what? The staff and volunteers became our guiding stars. They took it slow, celebrating every tiny step we made. From being carried everywhere to strutting on a leash, we’ve come a long way.
Now, we’re still figuring out this whole “being a dog” thing. But with love, extra pets, treats, and compassion, we’ll get there. House training? Yep, still a work in progress. Our daytime kennel is spotless, but overnights? Well, let’s just say are still a bit of a challenge for us.
What do we need? Someone patient, caring, and kind—a guide through this doggy adventure. And guess what? We don’t have to be adopted together, but if you’re looking for a pair, here we are!
