Hey there, I’m Georgie! Let me tell you my story. Once upon a time, my sister, Alexa and I, found ourselves in a whirlwind of change. Our previous owner couldn’t care for us anymore, so we ended up here at the shelter. Talk about a tough transition! We were two little shut-down pups, clinging to the safety of our kennels. Leashes? Never heard of 'em! This new environment—loud, fast-paced—was a challenge. But guess what? The staff and volunteers became our guiding stars. They took it slow, celebrating every tiny step we made. From being carried everywhere to strutting on a leash, we’ve come a long way. Now, we’re still figuring out this whole “being a dog” thing. But with love, extra pets, treats, and compassion, we’ll get there. House training? Yep, still a work in progress. Our daytime kennel is spotless, but overnights? Well, let’s just say are still a bit of a challenge for us. What do we need? Someone patient, caring, and kind—a guide through this doggy adventure. And guess what? Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a county license at an additional cost of $17, this fee is cash only. Adoption fees can be done using credit card or cash.
