Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.

Please note that the first step is the application. We have a $30 application fee that is applied to your adoption fee. Make sure before filling out an application that you have seriously considered adoption and have talked it over with all family members. Our approval process takes about a week and we expect that you adopt after that. We do not hold dogs.

Note: We do not adopt to families with children under the age of six and stick to this policy, as it is part of our insurance policy.

We also only adopt in WI & IL. At times we are able to work with people in the Minneapolis area.

Please also only to apply if you are ready to adopt now. We do not hold dogs or keep applications should a dog fit your needs in the future.

MY STORY: General is incredible looking. He is huge, about 76 lbs and likes kids we are told. He is such a beautiful guy. Very sweet, loves his humans, is good with other dogs. This dog does shed and is not hypoallergenic.
