My Story

Gemma has found her forever home in Manchester, MA with Lisa & Jennifer L. Check out beautiful Gemma! We think she may be a Dutch shepherd mix with her gorgeous brindle coat. She was found as a stray in the middle of a busy road in TN before coming into rescue. She is currently 6 months old and weighs 30 lbs. Pictures don't do Gemma justice. She is such a gorgeous girl with an amazing personality and those ears... they are just so adorable! She is very friendly and enjoys meeting people and playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She is even fine with cats. Gemma enjoys going for car rides and going on new adventures, but most of all she just enjoys being with her person, even if its just cuddling on the couch. She is doing well with house and crate training and walking on leash. She's just a "gem" of a pup! Adoption Coordinator: Carol Adoption Fee: $500 Please Note: Gemma is currently being fostered in TN and is not here to meet yet. If interested, please complete an online application at www.foreverhomerescue.org Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old.
