Gem (1.5 years old) was surrendered by his owner as he bothers the livestock at their home. But outside of that, he is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle. He has no aggression to humans, in fact when his owner first found him he was just a pup with a broken leg and never nipped at them when they tried to get him help, nor when he has had porcupine quills removed from his feet and mouth on another occasion. He loves chew toys and has had a basket of these that he would choose from in his previous home. He is house trained, leash trained and has had obedience training. He is crate trained and used to grooming and vet care and also travels well in a vehicle. He also previously lived with two other large dogs and several cats. He should however go to a home where there is no livestock for him to interact with. We're not entirely sure of his breeding but he is a large, handsome guy with one blue eye. Please give this Gem a chance at a forever home. He's already neutered and up to date with shots, so ready to go to his new family right away.
