Gabby was found stray and wound up in the Irving shelter. No one ever came for her so CCHS brought her into the adoption program where she is now safe in foster care awaiting a forever home.
She was emaciated, but despite the neglect that she has suffered... Gabby doesn't hold a grudge! She loves everyone and doesn't have an agressive bone in her body. Gabby... is a sweet gal that LOVES children and is a food hound but who wouldn't be having been starved!!! She is working on her potty training and is almost there w/ only an occasional accident. She walks well on a leash and prefers to cuddle w/ the kids at night or her foster parents instead of being put in a crate, but she is also crate trained. She does great w/ dogs, cats and kids of all shapes and sizes.
Note from Gabby: I'm doing really well adjusting to home life and putting on weight!!! I love my sweater and being my foster moms bed warmer. I'm looking for a home of my own with patience to help me learn to potty outside and to let me sleep with you at night.
