Fromage was picked up by animal control as a stray in a rural town we help. He was taken to the shelter and was going to be euthanized due to a lack of space. He was very skinny so even though he was in the shelter, he was happy to be fed. Our volunteer met him the next day and we were able to save him. He has now been with a foster for 1 month and he’s ready for a forever family.
Fromage has done great in his foster home. He is easy going and likes everyone he meets. He isn’t afraid of the water when his foster takes him to the beach and he’s ready to just be your pal. He is being fostered with adult dogs, cats and children as young as 7.
He is already house trained and knows how to use a doggy door like a champ. He is comfortable in his crate and goes in to nap with the door open. He’s an easy going and happy guy.
Fromage is 18 weeks old, and he weighs 15 pounds. Our veterinarian estimates that he will be about 25 - 30 pounds when he’s full grown.
He has been neutered. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, dewormed and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
Fromage will arrive in the Pacific Northwest on 8/10. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt
