Fritz is a English Springer Spaniel/Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen mix. His body is the spaniel part and his head is the PBGV. He is a sweet dog that likes to hang out around the house.

Fritzee's foster mom has gotten him to the point where they are no longer using the crate. He does let you know if he has to go out and they have not had any potty issues for awhile now.
Fritzee did suffer from separation anxiety when he first came into foster care but can now be left alone with out tearing up the house. He really doesn't understand how to play leaving his foster mom to believe he was an outside or garage dog who got very little contact.
Friztee doesn't like to be brushed and that is the only time he tries to snap at anyone. he never makes contact with the skin just gives a bit of a warning that you are doing something he does not like.
Fritzee gets along great with other dogs and cats. He is wonderful around kids. He is a bit shy around strangers but once you he warms up to you he will love you for life.
Fritzee will bark at the door when someone knocks but other than that you would never know he was in the house. He could do with some basic obedience lessons.

Fritzee has had all his shots, rabies, been heartworm tested, wormed, and neutered.

A fenced yard is preferred.

We do adopt outside the state of Ohio. However, we require the adopting family to drive to Ohio to meet/adopt the dog applying for. Should this be more than a day's drive, we can arrange transport with the adopting family driving at least half way.
