Reintroducing Fritz! We took a little time off of finding his forever home to do a full senior panel bloodwork and have him hang with a trainer for a little bit. What we found out is he’s a healthy, happy boy! He has some arthritis that will need to be managed by his forever family. He also has some “Airedale quirks” that his owners will want to work with him on. Fritz is approx 10 years old. He is great with everyone he meets and other dogs, as well. His ideal situation would be a home without young children, a family who will take him for walks to build up some muscle in his back legs, and someone savvy with stubborn behavior. He loves to spend time with his family but will need structure of being off all furniture at first, work on recall, and leash walking. He can be stubborn when told he needs to do something he doesn’t want to so a strong handler would be best! He was wonderful for the groomer and the vet staff. He is not good in the car. He will need a crate in the vehicle when being taken anywhere and he does very well once in it.
