Meet Freddy #7! The perfect house guest. He is fine with guests coming to visit, in fact he loves it. He quickly figures out the routines and will let you know when it’s time for dinner or a walk or when he needs to go outside. Freddy takes meds for arthritis and thyroid, but he takes his pills like a champ, no issues. His med costs are very reasonable. We had the mobile groomer come give him a bath and she said he was very well behaved- ok with bath, blow dry and nail clipping. He is pretty good on a leash – he likes to smell everything when walking outside. He loves to go for rides in the car! He is food motivated, so very trainable; however, there is no resource guarding. He likes to be outside when the weather is nice, so a fenced in yard is great for him. He is a shadow and will follow his people around all day. He’d do best with someone who works from home or is a stay-at-home parent. He loves to be with people. He is good in his crate, but limit is 3-4 hours. He has only been alone in the house for short periods of time without being crated and has been well behaved. He is very excited to see other dogs, but we have not introduced him to any. He’s a really well-behaved good boy. He’s excellent company. Doesn’t have much to say, but he’s a very good listener. Probably best as an only pet.
