FREDDIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED! THANKS STEPHENSON FAMILY OF FLATWOODS, KY! Freddie is a male Dachshund/Corgi mix estimated at 1.5 years of age. Freddie came to the shelter after his owners were no longer able to properly take care of him. Freddie is a wonderful boy. He is what we like to call a low-rider, meaning he has a long body style and short legs that keep him low to the ground. Freddie is extremely handsome with his dapple coloring of the Doxie. Others refer to the coloring as merle but whatever you want to call it, Freddie is most unique and beautiful. He has the build more of the Corgi with the wider back and stouter build. Freddie is great with children, having been kid tested. He is also good with other dogs. Being part Doxie, he is not good with felines as he really wants to chase them and since we are not certain if he would hurt one, no cats for this boy. Freddie is estimated at 1.5 years of age and he is current on vaccinations and dewormings. He will be neutered and rabied prior to leaving the shelter. Freddie weighs 20-25 lbs so he is considered a small boy. If you could find it in your heart to make Freddie a part of your family, he would love you forever and unconditionally. Freddie appears to be housetrained and he loves being inside.
