My Story

Freddie and his little sis, Ginger, are two of the most unusual, and most adorable, puppies we have seen in a long time. They obviously have Lab in them as they LOVE the water and have big webbed feet. The rest could be Husky or Malamute, the latter more likely because of their size. They will be very large when full grown - especially Freddie! Once you see his paws you will agree, this boy has a lot of growing to do to fit those feet!

When Freddie and his sister first arrived at CAS they were both very timid, but they desperately wanted to trust humans. Someone had really been overly stern with them. Thankfully a little love and encouragement goes a long way with puppy dogs. Now they are so trusting that they have turned into giant teddy bears! To see them play makes your ribs hurt from laughing! They are so big and gawky; it's like going to the circus to see the clowns!

Please come see Freddie, and help us reinforce the lesson that not all humans are mean. He wants nothing more than to make a human happy enough to want to take him home, so that he can love them for the rest of his life! Do you have a heart big enough for this big boy to fill with love? Come on, come find out!

Adoption Fee: $85 which includes microchipping, spay/neuter, heartworm test, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, age appropriate vaccinations, worming. Cash or check only -- we do not take debit or credit cards. Staff and volunteers socialize and work with the dogs on a daily basis. Most are leash trained and kennel trained upon adoption. We have really great dogs just waiting to be your new best friend!
