**adopted**Freckles is a male Pomeranian who came to our rescue from a family who had several dogs and could not financially keep them. It also appears that he was not very well socialized as he is very nervous and can be snappy. Freckles is very timid around men. This is were a foster family is so important to work with animals who are needing socialization and teaching them to trust the humans who care for them. Freckles will be worked with on his socializing, being around other pets and learning to trust people. At this time it is not recommended that he be around a family with small children (under 5 years old). He is already adapting well to other dogs and cats in the foster family, loves to cuddle in bed and loves to be held. This is a smart little boy as he knows how to do some tricks..wave "bye-bye'" and how to dance for treats. Freckles also has a playful side and loves to chase mini tennis balls. Freckles is neutered, shots updated, wormed and treated for fleas and ticks. If you are willing to continue working with Freckles and are devoted to him bringing him to his full potential there is a great little companion waiting for you. His adoption donation is $100 to cover medical work.
