Frankie

Let’s talk about Frankie! Born in a shelter in Costa Rica, a long-time animal advocate and dog lover spotted Frankie and jumped at the opportunity to host him on a flight to Vermont to start the life he deserves. With very little socialization under his paws, Frankie has hit the ground running since touching down in Vermont last week. Being well-mannered and respectful, he has quickly adjusted to living in a foster home with older dogs and cats, and has accompanied his foster family on outings visiting with family and friends, exploring the trails, and restaurants with outdoor dining. Born on May 8, Frankie is 12 weeks old and 15 lbs, a wire haired mix of some sort, and likely medium size when full grown. He walks really well on-leash, sticks close to his peeps off-leash, and is working on potty training. He sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate, and will politely wake you on the occasion he has to go out to potty in the middle of the night. He is a nice mix of cuddling in your lap for a nap, sleeping at your feet while you are working, and independent enough to entertain himself with toys.
