Fox

Fox is a 1.5 year old male German Shepherd cross (maybe with some hound of some sort?). He is very tall and lanky. He originally came to our shelter October/08 as a stray with a face full of porcupine quills. He was adopted shortly after he recovered from surgery but was returned May 22/09 because his owner moved to a place that did not allow pets. Fox is very friendly and sociable. He gets along great with other dogs and cats, and is excellently socialized with children, although he is a bit too big and playful for smaller kids. He is house trained and very well behaved. He can respond to some basic commands, and walks well on a leash. He recently participated in some of the Relay for Life walk and was very friendly with everyone he met, including other dogs and walked very well on leash. We hope he can find his new forever home soon. He is already neutered, microchipped and vaccinated so he's ready to go right away.
