When Rescues speak of background stories of the dogs, it can range from very tame to extremely disturbing. The latter would be the best way to describe where where Forest and his family came from. An abandoned property that was the former home of a meth addict is the backdrop to Forrest’s origin story. A Good Samaritan was asked to help save some dogs on an abandoned property. When she showed up, 20 dogs were there, no food or clean water and 3 puppies were found in a corner, huddled up next to each other, crying. They were scooped up in a cooler and taken to a Vet clinic right away. That was the beginning of our story. We now have a neutered puppy that has been microchipped and given age appropriate vaccinations. Forrest is ready to find his forever home, and leave all memories of the hell hole he came from behind him. Forrest is about 11 weeks old and 12lbs of love and adorable cuteness.
