My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in adopting, read about our Adoption Process and complete an Adoption Application on the Mo-Kan website. A Mo-Kan application must be filled out to begin the process. Ford is one of the sweetest and happiest boys. He loves everyone, adults, children, other dogs and cats. He is playful, but also has a quiet side, and loves to just lay next to his foster mom on the couch with his head in her lap and be cuddled. His tail is always wagging. He stayed with another family for a few days and he even made friends with their cat that doesn't like their dogs. He has grown a lot while in foster. He is tall and lanky, and still has some growing to do. He is a good car rider, and loves to go on walks. He is pretty good on the leash, keeping it taut, but not really pulling unless he sees a squirrel or rabbit. He learns quickly, and has learned basic commands, as well as what it means when told "wrong side" when on a walk. He was not house trained when he came into his foster home, but has very few accidents in the house how. He does like to chew, and especially likes outdoor plants and shoes. Ford is a great dog that is going to make a family a great companion. Mom was a Border Collie and my dad was possibly a Great Pyrenees. He had a bit of a rough start in life. He and his brother came into rescue, they tested positive for Parvo. They were treated and now full of energy and learning how to be a great dog and companion! Ford is being fostered in the Kansas City Mo area.
