Flippen has found his forever home with Ken McP in Brockton, MA
This polka dotted handsome boy is Flippen. His siblings (Cinnamon, Yancy, Denny and Pepper) were previously posted on our site and have all been adopted. All of their new families absolutely adore them and feel they have made excellent additions to the family. He is a great boy who is ~8 months old and weighs ~45 lbs. Momma is a boxer/pointer mix and daddy was likely a lab, because several of his siblings look labbie. Whatever mix he is, he is quite handsome and his fur feels like velvet. He loves other dogs and has normal curiosity around cats. Since he has been in foster care in New England, we have learned that he is somewhat timid around new people. He will be best off in a home where the family can be patient with him and give him time to get comfortable and warm up. A quiet home without a lot of people in and out and without children would be preferable for him as well because he is somewhat unpredictable with children under 10. A home with another dog in residence would be great for him also, although not required. If we can find just the right home for Flippen, we will waive his adoption fee.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
