Flash was saved from a life of being tied out by the side of a highway! Sweet and affectionate, he seems to know that he was saved and is a very grateful fellow. Flash is between 1 - 2 years old and has hard-to-find lemon and white Basset coloring. He's doing well in a foster home and gets along well with the other dogs in the home. His foster dad thinks that he's got lab in him because of his happy, playful, fun-loving personality. Flash is a sweet boy who would love to be your best friend.
The Bassets currently shown on our website and on Petfinder are just a small portion of the ones we have available. For this reason, we ask all potential adopters to complete the application and approval process first so we can talk about the dogs that fit your home. We always have 30 to 60 dogs available and the ages range from about a year old to ten years old. If you're interested in adopting a rescued, homeless Basset Hound you can find our adoption application on our website - www.tristatebassets.org. Once you're there just click on the button "Adoption Procedures", which will take you to a page that completely describes our adoption process with links to an online submittal form or, if you prefer, there are links to download the application for mailing.
