Faye

Faye was part of a cruelty case confiscation where she and her sibling or son were being kept in a room with another (deceased) dog without food or water. They both were literally starving and dying from dehydration. Thank goodness the sheriff's dept was involved and they were able to get all of the animals to safety and open a case against this person. Faye finally became available for rescue at the shelter and turns out she was definitely pregnant. It was tough to tell at the time of confiscation due to her belly being somewhat fuller due to having babies inside. Once we got her to our rescue and she was given a soft bed and a safe spot to rest, she started giving birth the very next morning. Faye is the mommy of 5 beautiful brindle puppies. She is currently taking care of her little ones while we make sure everyone is getting what they need to stay healthy. Faye is very affectionate, quiet and sweet. She is a "real" rescue story.
