Farkle

Hey there! My name is Farkle! I am a gorgeous, velvety hippo that was surrendered because my owner no longer had time to take care of me. I am a big snuggler and wouldn't mind being your couch buddy one bit, but I also am willing to run around, play, and go on walks. I do not need a whole lot of exercise to be satisfied though - I'd much rather get a good belly rub from you instead! I can be hesitant of new people at first. That can be evident if you walk up to my kennel, but I promise if you are patient with me, I will open up and be your absolute best friend! Little kids really aren't my thing though, so I would do best in a home with older kids who will respect my space, preferably teenaged and older. I have lived with another dog in the past and did great with them, but generally, I do not get along with other female dogs. That being said, I could potentially share my home with a male dog in the future! I'm ready for a new start! I just need someone willing to give me the time and patience I need to show you what a fantastic dog I can be. Please, please give me a chance! I hope to see you soon!
