Fancy

Fancy is a happy-go-lucky, six year old female Saint Bernard who is so full of love and LAZINESS! She is available for adoption! Before considering adding Fancy to your family, please note that KPAL Rescue has a mandatory adoption process in place which includes a home visit. More information on our adoption process can be found on our website, please read that (and this adoption listing) in their entirety - our process cannot be waived. We do not ship our animals and we do not allow for third-party transportation. Fancy is a big lover. She always wants to be where her people are, as long as it's inside a cool house. She's not a fan of the heat. She is as big as a caboose, and snores like a freight train. Fancy is great with kids and other dogs of all sizes. She will bark at wildlife, but keeps her distance. She has very minimal exposure to cats but chased the one she did meet briefly. She is unaware of her size, and will occasionally step on your toes or knock you over with her butt wiggles. She is very good at staying in her yard, but will occasionally seek out stinky stuff to roll in. She is not great on a leash (pulls and wants to smell all the smells), but loves going for short walks. She is fairly tight-lipped, so you won't have many Beethoven moments, but she does like to wipe her face on things after she eats. Fancy smiles by furrowing her lips. It can look scary at first, but once you get to know her, you find that she's all love and smiles! She loves to snuggle, and will give you her belly for rubs any chance she gets. KPAL dogs are vetted (age-appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, etc.); there will be an adoption fee of $350 + tax so that we can continue to help other animals in need.
