Meet Eunice!
Just look at her 'tuxedo' Eunice, she really is stunning. Sadly, black dogs are overlooked in shelters, to the point where the term 'black dog syndrome' is an actual thing in the rescue world. Colorful dogs get adopted quickly from shelters, while black dogs languish. We think black dogs are just as beautiful.
Eunice found herself at an overcrowded kill shelter in TN through no fault of her own. Our rescue saved her and placed her in a foster home, but she needs a furever home.
Eunice is a sweetheart and so affectionate. Not entirely sure of her breed mix, but we're guessing black Lab Retriever/Staffie mix!
We just rescued her so we don't know too much yet. She is young, approx 2 yrs old, and she's quite gentle, affectionate, and truly loving laying her head on your leg while having her head stroked.
Eunice is very people friendly and has been dog friendly with the ones she has met. Her foster introduced Eunice to a small child briefly and no reaction at all!
We really would love to find a furever home for Eunice quickly.
