Ernie

Ernie is a 12 week old, 25 lb "Borderland" (Border collie, Newfoundland mix). I little shy at first, Ernie is learning that people are his friends. He loves chew toys and playing in the yard with the other dogs. He has the loping run of a puppy who is too small for his feet. He will likely turn out to be a large dog. He is paper-trained and good with cats. Ernie would prefer a home with another dog to show him how good life works and older children.

This organization is run by volunteers only and we try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on the Pet Rescue website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 5 days. Pet Rescue doesn't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved.
