My Story

Picot (formerly Erioc) was oh so popular when he hit the adoptables page of Bully Buddies. A Dogo x American Bulldog, with handsome spots and a dorky persona had many folks applying. Amongst them was Dao and Luc. They came up from Seattle and totally fell for them, but unfortunately the building manager decided that he did not want "one of those dogs" living in the apartment building.

So Picot went back up for adoption while Dao and Luc worked hard to convince their building manager to allow Picot. Well all that effort convinced the manager, and Picot has become an American citizen! They are continuing to work hard with Picot, and have him in training to help him become a well-behaved dork. Thank-you to Zoe for committing to him, Kirstan from Recycle-A-Bull for doing the homecheck, and Dao and Luc for showing as much intelligence and tenacity as the breeds we adore.

This guy is such a complete dork and sooooo lovable! Erioc is a total charmer who has even managed to worm his way into the hearts of a couple of dog picky resident dogs at his foster home. Erioc has Panosteitis, something that affects his life now, but he will grow out of as he matures. He's doing well right now, not in pain, eating, etc... but it is something that can bring periodic bouts of pain and loss of appetite until he grows out of it. While he is still growing he will need a bit more limited exercise and some medication to manage his pain. If you want a jogging partner then he is not a dog for you, however he is a wonderful companion who will soon outgrow these pain issues. Here's a link to read more about it.

Erioc is good with cats and so far zero issues with dog aggression. He is only around 15 months old though so this could change as he matures. He would do great living with a female dog or two! He is an adolescent boy who lacked consistency and positive handling in his former home. He is catching up quickly in his fantastic foster home, and would love to attend obedience classes with his new home. He's doing well with the kids in his foster home, although a bit of a bug because he wants to play and sniff and kiss, etc.. so he's learning his boundaries with the little ones. He would be best matched in a home with older children who don't mind a dorky adolescent male trying to squish into their lap.

Erioc is so funny and playful, like a giant handsome puppy, who is garnering quite a fan club with Bully Buddies volunteers.
