At 5 years and 7 months old and weighing 55 pounds, Erin is fully grown and displays the distinguished characteristics of a German Shepherd mix, though her exact breed mix remains unconfirmed without a DNA test. Erin was surrendered to the shelter alongside her littermate due to no fault of her own; their previous owners simply could not afford their care. Since arriving at the shelter, Erin was initially shy but has gradually begun to show her true, affectionate self. She has excellent manners, walks gently on a leash, and appears to be potty trained. Erin loves people and cherishes her brushing sessions, which foster special moments of connection. She enjoys her daily walks, exploring the world beyond her shelter confines. While she has had limited interactions with children at the shelter, her sweet and calm demeanor suggests she would do well, though slow and monitored introductions are recommended.
