ARCBCR has seven adorable, very active, English Shepherd/Border Collie mix puppies. There are four boys and three girls boys. The puppies’ mom is a beautiful, long haired English Shepherd. The puppies were born 2 weeks after mom came into rescue. The father was a short haired Border Collie who came into rescue about the same time. There are 5 black and white puppies and two tri colored puppies. Some will have long hair like their mom and others will have short hair like their dad. The puppies’ mother is a very active dog who loves to play with toys. She has done an excellent job raising the puppies. They are happy and healthy pups who will make excellent additions to active homes.
These puppies will make excellent companions in active homes and might even be good candidates for agility or other dog sports. The puppies like to play with toys and are learning to fetch. Squeaky toys are a big hit. They are very friendly with people and enjoy playing with the other dogs in their foster home. The puppies are best suited for homes that have experience with herding breeds such as Border Collies, English Shepherds, or Australian Shepherds.
These puppies have been raised in foster homes where they have had proper de-worming and vaccinations as well as plenty of human attention from both adults and children. They are learning about a crate and also enjoying all the sights and sounds of the world. A spay or neuter contract will be required. If you would be interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an adoption application and we will match the right puppy to your lifestyle. Please indicate on the application if you would be interested in a male or female puppy. The puppies are currently 6 weeks old. They will be ready for their new homes after May 9th. For any specific questions please contact their foster mom, Emily. The puppies are being fostered near Richmond, VA.
