Emmy (FNA Skye & Remy)

If we had to pick the one dog in our entire rescue who most deserves a new familyit would most definitely be Remy. Remy was dumped by her family, who adopted her as a puppy, after four years of love and loyalty. She adored, played with, and allowed their small children to dress her, sleep on her, and climb on her ( NOT ok)without anything but patience. She lived peacefully with their older dog for four years. Then, just as her person got a job that kept her out of the house for very long hours each day, on a whim, they added another large dog to their small, busy home where the dogs already did not get enough exercise. Things were not working out due to everyones stress level, and just two days before Christmas, we were heartbroken to see that Remy was the one being tossed away. Remy then spent five months in boarding, and is now in our foster home. While she has come a long way, and has been loved since coming back to the rescue, Remy is desperate for her own family. She has never been the center of attention, and would be so grateful to finally have that. When we have to put Remy back into her room, she gets very sad, and its heartbreaking, but a house full of animals is not the place for her. We try our best to give her all the love and attention she craves, but we simply have too many others who want the same. Remy is fun, smart, loving, affectionate and thrives on attention. She loves hiking, walking, helping around the yard, and being close to you no matter what you do. Remy has the happiest, most adorable Pittie smile, and we would love to finally see that smile happen even more often. Remy lights up when she sees everyone, but especially loves men and children. This is a great dog who has never had what she deserves in life. She would like to be your only animal friend, and will repay you with her undying love and loyalty. We promise.
