She was picked up as a stray so we don't know her linage for sure, but she most resembles a Norwich Terrier in the breed book. Out vet says she's around 10 years old, but she doesn't act it. What a sweetheart! She is housebroken and smart as a whip. She learned how to use a dog door in about 15 minutes. Emmy is heart worm negative, on heart worm prevention, spayed and up to date on shots. She is a little jewel, weighing in at 13 pounds and standing about 10 inches tall at the shoulder. Emmy’s ideal home is one where she is the only dog and her person will stay at home with her. She is a total affection sponge! This loyal little lady will melt your heart with her big brown eyes and her steadfast devotion. Emmy is a winner in every way and sure to win your heart.



Note: All applications are processed in the order received, but an adoption is made to the best application received for each of our animals. All applicants must provide a vet reference on the adoption application. If you are adopting a dog from ARFA, a fenced in yard for the dog will be required. Home visits often occur on each adoption. ARFA has the right to deny adoption to any applicant for any reason without explanation. Please remember that the adoption fee is not for purchase of a dog, but rather to cover the medical cost of all dogs in our care.
